This park commemorates Florida's first state convention, and features a museum dedicated to this and other points of Floridian history. The museum is open from 9am-12pm and 1pm-5pm, Thursday through Monday. Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.

St. Joseph Peninsula State Park is comprised of 2,516 acres that include white sand beaches, sand dunes and a forested interior. Butterflies descend on this park in the fall before migrating across the Gulf of Mexico. Fishing is well-liked here as well.
