    Falling Waters State Park

    Named for the 67-foot waterfall that is located in the park, Falling Waters State Park is set roughly three miles south of Chipley, FL. The sink that the waterfall drops into is 100-feet deep and 20 feet wide; it is still not known where the water goes after it falls.

    Orman House was built in 1838, and efforts have been made to retain the charm and history that is inherent in this structure. Visitors will enjoy a tour through the property, featuring tongue in groove walls, strutural frameworks held together with wooden pegs and oak and cherrywood floors.     St. George Island State Park

    Camp Helen State Park

    Camp Helen State Park is surrounded by three different bodies of water: the Gulf of Mexico, Phillips Inlet and Lake Powell. This 183-acre environment is a perfect habitat for shorebirds and other sealife, as well as bald eagles. In addition to hiking the island trails, both freshwater and shore fishing are popular activities at Camp Helen.

    Torreya State Park

    Torreya State Park is situated in Bristol, about 30 miles south of Marianna, FL. A bluff that rises 150 feet above the river is an important attraction for visitors to this park. Campground reservations are recommended in the fall, as the park becomes busier due to the high number of people that come to see the fall colors.
